DJ Memberships

There are a few simple realities for every DJ: we love music, we have a desire to share what we love, and we ask ourselves "What If?" when it comes to the presentation of the music. It doesn't matter if you are a radio DJ, Internet radio DJ, or a club DJ— we are all in the same family. The tools may vary, but the realities are the same.

DJs are the glue that bind radio stations and dance clubs with the rest of the music world. Without DJs, there would be only mindless machines or computers to "juke box" the music. Juke boxes are a possible consideration for radio stations and clubs, but these devices lack the emotional vitality a DJ offers. Automated "DJs" offer only a poor representation of what the music truly is, lacking the ability to create audio artwork through the skillful arrangement of songs and music.

Being a DJ is also one of the launching boards for many of the most successful bands. Some of the more highly skilled musicians can also be found in the DJ booth (such as :Wumpscut:, Razed In Black, and one of the members of Skinny Puppy). There are even some DJs who command a presence on the same level as renowned bands. These are prestigious abilities, far from being any mere hobby.

When it comes to business, any discursive field of the arts can be high risk. Success depends on the DJ and what is presented on the musical table. Much like a band, a DJ needs visibility. You can be the best DJ in your chosen musical genres, yet still be missed due to a lack of exposure. However, there are many opportunities to find success, in the form of dance club performances, radio shows, mixing/remixing music, and even creating your own music. Who better to help you find these opportunities, than someone who is a successful DJ himself?

But why would a DJ, through the assistance of his personal website, assist another DJ in obtaining well-deserved popularity? The answer is that we are all in the same industry, and we should exist for what matters most to us, the music. Without the music we would have nothing to share with the world.

Detailed below are what the two membership packages currently offer. More features will be added to each package, but the cost will never increase for those who are active, paying members of this website.

Basic Package:

A custom-built profile on this website, fashioned to your tastes;
Access to the many promotional resources of this website, including record labels, radio stations, dance clubs, and bands;
Making you part of the presentation, which will show your format to bands, labels, models, graphic artists, magazines, and distributors;
An online bio provided by you (or a bio written for you by the moderators of this site, which will be posted with your approval);
A review of you as a DJ and a personality;
Links to your other websites, including social networking sites such as MySpace ®, etc.;
The option to post play lists linked to your profile;
Your web banner included in the regular banner rotation, visible on many areas of this website;
Tying your banner and brand to everything you contribute to this website, including interviews, promotional material, etc.

Advanced Package (upgrades in addition to the Basic Package):

Possible invitations to join Draven on his DJ tours;
Information on promotional events that would be useful to you, such as festivals, CD release parties, etc.;
Information posted on the Event Calendar for your regular club nights, special appearances, or other activities;
Evaluations of any website you may possess, offered on behalf of our programmers and Internet marketing staff;
A press kit sent to promising bands and labels, which will be tied to an overall package;
Possible invitations to take part in future expansions of this website and all related sites;
A list of recommended bands and albums, based on genres you select;
Direction on the best methods for obtaining new music.

As with anything related to business, there is always an expense. These fees are in place to ensure that we can continue to support the bands and the
musical artists, who we are always here for. However, the cost is quite low— it's a very minor expense to you!

NOTE:

The fees below cover all that is offered above. There are no hidden costs! (please refer to the terms of service for more information);
Prices are subject to change for monthly advertising memberships, whereas prices will not increase for each month prepaid (yearly).
Please note that the price in US dollars is the constant base price. Due to repetitive flucuations in exchange rates, please refer to online resources (such as www.xe.com) to get the most up-to-date costs. We will update the listed costs in UK pounds and EU euros regularly, but we can't guarantee that the listed cost in these currencies is always accurate.
